PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat sealing performance at an intersection where a pleat perpendicularly intersects with a rib of a self-standing packaging material with the pleat, and improve the self-standing stability of the self-standing packaging material with the pleat by bending the intersection of the pleat perpendicularly intersecting with the rib at a more acute angle to exhibit excellent design. SOLUTION: The self-standing packaging bag has a clasped hands-like rib formed by bonding inner surfaces of end margins of the packaging material in the up-down direction of the packaging bag, and one or more extended pleats formed by turning up the packaging material in a direction perpendicular to the up-down direction of the packaging bag into a three-ply band and bonding the turned-up inner surfaces wherein the pleat formed at least at the ridge between the folded bottom surface and the outer circumferential part extends from the outer circumferential part to form an identical plane, the bottom surface is approximately perpendicular to the upper end of the pleat reverse surface, and a cut is formed at a portion where the rib intersects with the rib.
