<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel having not only a traveling function but also the function of riding over any obstacle by a device capable of lifting the wheel to an upper stair in a stairway by the turning motion of a motor around the wheel when the wheel hits the obstacle and the wheel is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel is revolved around a rotating body hooked by a riser of a stairway. A brake which allows the wheel to be detached without being lifted high when the wheel rides over an upper stair hits a riser of the stair to allow a ratchet pawl going in/out of the wheel to go in/out of a blade of a ratchet 10 fitted to the wheel so as to be integrated and disintegrated with/from the wheel. Further, the rotating body is continuously fixed to the stairway while the wheel rides over by a mechanism in which a guide roller is placed on a guide having an arc-shaped outer circumference mounted to a motor to make one turn, and the rotating body is in a waiting state at a position where the rotating body can further in contact with the upper riser even after the wheel rides over the stair. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
