PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system capable of efficiently designing a product by reducing the repetition of works, and to provide a CAD program, a storage medium storing the CAD program, and a design support method. SOLUTION: The design support system 10 for generating/displaying the dimensions of graphic data plotted on a display 12 comprises: a keyword display means 21e for selectively displaying the keywords which express dimensional information of an element held in the graphic data; a dimensional information storage means 23b for storing the dimensional information associated with the keywords; a dimensional information extracting means 21b for extracting the dimensional information of the element from the dimensional information storage means 23b, based on the keyword selected from the displayed keywords with a pointing device; a dimension input means 21d for acquiring the dimensional values of the dimensions of the element selected with the pointing device; and a dimensional information display means 21c for displaying the dimensional information extracted by the dimensional information extracting means 21b and the dimensional values, acquired by the dimension input means in the circumference of the element.
