PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plastic eyeglass lens having optical transmissivity almost equal to that of neodymium compound-containing plastic eyeglass lenses using organic coloring matter instead of a neodymium compound. SOLUTION: The plastic eyeglass lens is composed of a plastic lens wafer formed of a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin, or is composed of the plastic wafer and one or multiple componential layers formed on at least one side of the plastic wafer.
