<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variance of intersection capacitance formed in each intersection region dotted in a matrix in a display region of a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes a display panel having a plurality of first signal lines and a plurality of second signal lines three-dimensionally intersecting the first signal lines through an insulating layer. In the regions dotted in a matrix on the display panel where the first signal lines and the second signal lines three-dimensionally intersect, the thickness of the insulating layer interposed between the first signal line and the second signal line in one region is smaller than the thickness of the insulating layer interposed between the first signal line and the second signal line in another region, and the area of the region where the first signal line and the second signal line overlap in a plan view in the one region is smaller than the area of the region where the first signal line and the second signal line overlap in a plan view in the other region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
