To provide a rust preventive package containing a bearing used in a machine tool, which is free from occurrence of rusting while the bearing is packaged, which allows the bearing to be readily used in practice as removed from the package, and which does not require a time-consuming work in packaging, and also to provide a rust preventive packaging method. A bearing ( 2 ) for a machine tool, which is allowed a bearing oil to be applied, is wrapped with a vaporizable rust preventive sheet ( 3 ). Preferably employed bearing oil includes a lubricant used when the bearing ( 2 ) for the machine tool is operated.
