<p>An apparatus and method of generating a wake-up signal from a passive tag with a battery is provided. According to the present invention, since a wake-up signal is generated by a signal received from a Radio Frequency Identification ( RFID) reader, battery life can be extended. That is, a wake-up signal can be generated for the battery to be operated according to a signal from the RFID reader so that the battery included in the tag can be controlled from the RFID reader, thereby controlling the amount of battery power consumed. Therefore, the battery life and the life of the tag including the battery can be increased.</p> |
