<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device which can suppress the maximum value of incoming power, and which can be reduced in the size of a power receiving apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device is constituted of: a rectifier converter 4 which converts an AC voltage into a direct current via an AC blocker 2 mounted to an input; a DC capacitor 5 for smoothing the output voltage of the rectifier converter 4; a power converter 6 which converts the smoothed DC voltage into a desired current pattern and feeds it to a coil load 8; and an initial charging means for initially charging the DC capacitor 5, and an initial charging voltage value of the initial charging means is set larger than the value which is obtained by adding a prescribed regenerative additional amount ΔV to the voltage value, which is normally outputted by the rectifier converter 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
