ACCOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accounting system that can adjust the billing amount to match the delay when the job completion is delayed because of the image forming function suspended for maintenance.

SOLUTION: In the accounting system, an image forming device forming images following the job requests from the outside and an information processor for accounting based on the amount of the outputs of the above image forming device are connected through a network. The image forming device informs the stand-by state and the output amount for the accepted job as the accounting information to the information processor. The information processor calculates the charge amount for use based on the accounting information received from the image forming device, and adjusts the billing amount for the job by reducing the amount if the job stand-by state is the job completion delay due to the maintenance of the image forming device.
