PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiency carry out selection work of music during performing dubbing of a program of the music etc. SOLUTION: Two units of CD changers and one unit of an MD recorder and a personal computer as a recording and reproducing control device are connected to each other via a control signal transmission line. Identification information such as characters is transmitted to a personal computer 1 from the CD changers, and are stored in the memory of the personal computer 1. Windows 11, 12, 13 are presented by a GUI of the personal computer. The disk identification information and music name identification information of CDs, which can be respectively reproduced by two units of the CD changers are displayed on the windows 11 and 12. A user performs selection of all pieces of the music by moving the identification information to the window 13 by a dragging or dropping operation or copying the same. All pieces of the music corresponding to the identification information displayed in the window 13 are selected as the music to be recorded.
