PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign substance from entering in a motor part. SOLUTION: In the fluid pump device 10, an axial width W1 of a radial passage 56 axially between a bottom part 36a of a motor housing and a bottom part 32b of a rotor 32 is set wider than a radial width W2 of a first axial passage 54 radially between a cylinder part 28a of a can 28 and an outer circumference part 32a of the rotor 32 and a radial width W3 of a second axial passage 58 radially between an outer circumference part 30a of a rotation shaft 30 and an inner circumference part 46a of a bearing member 46, and the radial passage 56 is structured as a foreign substance reservoir. A plurality of blades 62 for generating swirling current 64 in fluid entering in the radial passage 56 are provided at a bottom part 32b of the rotor 32. Thus, it is possible to surely accumulate foreign substance in the radial passage 56 and prevent the foreign substance from entering radially between the outer circumference part 30a of the rotation shaft 30 and the inner circumference part 46a of the bearing member 46.
