PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement composition which is excellent in the development of initial strength while having long pot life. SOLUTION: The cement slurry composition comprises: (A) an aluminum salt and; (B) a polycarboxylic acid based water reducer obtained by polymerizing two or more monomers including a monomer expressed by the following general formulae (1) and (2) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>denote a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R<SP>4</SP>denotes a 1 to 3C alkyl group; M<SP>1</SP>denotes an alkali metal(s), an alkaline-earth metal(s), ammonium or organic amine; and n denotes the number of 5 to 25).
