PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a round rice cake capable of easily taking out the round rice cake as a content by a hand-pushed force or the like. SOLUTION: In the container for the round rice cake having a disk-shaped upper-tier small-diameter section with a first storing space, a disk-shaped lower-tier large-diameter section having a second storing space connected with the first storing space and connected with the upper-tier small-diameter section, and a flange forming an opening of the second storing space and extended to the outer periphery of the lower-tier large-diameter section, a first connecting section between the upper-tier small-diameter section and the lower-tier large-diameter section has a first narrow section which inwardly projects at an inner face and forms a groove on the outer face, and a first connecting section including a first flat surface which extends from the upper-tier small-diameter section to the lower-tier large-diameter section. A second connecting section between the lower-tier large-diameter section and the flange also has a second narrow section which inwardly projects at the inner face and forms a groove on the outer face, and a second connecting section including a second flat surface which extends from the lower-tier large-diameter section to the flange.
