A packaging for a liquid substance, in particular a cosmetics product suc h as nail varnish, comprises a container (1) which is accessible via a neck (2), a closure (4) which interacts with the neck (2) of the container (1) by means of a screw connection (3, 5), as well as a brushy (9) which is attach ed to the closure (4) and which extends into the container (1) when the clos ure (4) is screwed on, which brush (9) is attached to the closure (4) in suc h a manner that it can be displaced. The brush (9) by means of a screw conne ction (5, 7; 20, 21) interacts with the closure. Furthermore the screw conne ction (5, 7) between the closure (4) and the brush (9) and the screw connect ion (3, 5) between the closure (4) and the neck (2) have a substantially sim ilar diameter, or the screw connection (5, 7; 20, 21) between the brush (9) and the closure (4) has a larger diameter than the screw connection (3, 5) b etween the closure (4) and the neck (2).
