An electric shaver is provided to prevent jamming of skin to a recess between cutters and to minimize irritation to skin by installing a first outer cutter and a skin guard at a lower level than a finishing cutter and a second outer cutter. An electric shaver includes a shaving head extended to have a longitudinal and a cross axis, to accommodate a first outer cutter(10), a finishing cutter(30), and a second outer cutter(20) of a semi-cylinder shape. The first outer cutter, the finishing cutter, and the second outer cutter are extended along the longitudinal axis and arranged parallel with one another in general. Each of the first outer cutter and the second outer cutter has a main foil(11,21) with multiple penetrated elements, and an inner cutter(16,26) moving in sliding contact with the main foil by a motor, and the main foil is curved in an arch shape at a center of a parallel axis with the longitudinal axis. The finishing cutter has a finishing foil(31) with multiple penetrated elements, and an inner cutter(36) moving in sliding contact with the finishing foil by a motor, and is curved in an arch shape having width less than the main foil at a center of a parallel axis with the longitudinal axis. The first outer cutter and the second outer cutter are located at both ends of the shaving head, and the finishing cutter is installed in between. The shaving head includes a skin guard(50) between one of the first outer cutter and the second outer cutter and the finishing cutter for contacting skin of a user.
