<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition, an ink jet recording method, an ink jet recording device, and a recorded matter which prevent a defect caused by an unnecessary curing reaction of an optical radical curing type ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid composition comprises a radical polymerization inhibitor, a solvent, and a surface-active agent and is characterized in that the content of the radical polymerization inhibitor is 0.1-50 wt.%. Alternatively, the ink jet recording method is characterized by comprising the step of discharging the liquid droplet of an optical radical curing type ink composition onto a recording medium, the step of discharging the liquid droplet of the liquid composition to a place except a place to which the liquid droplet of the optical radical curing type ink composition is discharged, and the step of irradiating an ultraviolet ray and curing the liquid droplet adhering to the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
