<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating sensor capable of preventing any mistaken detection that an occupant is seated when a cargo is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sensor cells 11-14 is arranged on a seat face part 2a of a vehicle seat 2. The sensor cells 11-14 are conducted by abutting two opposing electrodes on each other when being subjected to the load. The plurality of sensor cells 11-14 has a first sensor cell 11 and a second sensor cell 14 which is deviated in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and in the right-to-left direction of the vehicle with respect to the first sensor cell 11.
