PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility retrieving device capable of promoting effective utilization of information of new facilities obtained by updating map data. SOLUTION: In a car navigation system 100: a control section 102 and an HDD 20 perform at least either modification of facility information stored on a hard disk 22 or addition of new facility information to the hard disk 22; the control section 102 retrieves, based on input information when performing facility retrieval, facility information stored on the hard disk 22; and, with respect to the facility information obtained by the retrieval, the control section 102 and a facility drawing list 116 display on a display 70 added or modified facility information in distinction from other facility information.
