PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new metal complex compound for organic electroluminescent devices. SOLUTION: The metal complex compound has at least one partial structure represented by general formula (1): M1L1. The partial structure M1L1 is represented by general formula (2) (wherein, M1 is a metal atom of Ir, Pt, Rh or Pd; Y<SB>1</SB>is a 2-6C alkylene group; and at least one of hydrogen atoms directly bound to the carbon atom is substituted with fluorine atom).
