PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can prevent erroneous detection from occurring in such a case that a disk is forcibly drawn out on the way of carrying out the disk from a loaded position to the outside. SOLUTION: A pair of rotational arms 11 and 12 operated by an outer peripheral edge of the disk D, switches SW2 and SW3 detecting rotational operations of the the rotational arms 11 and 12, a switch SW1 operated by the rotational arm 12 and a switch SW4 detecting that the disk D is positioned in the loaded position are included. In the carrying out operation of the disk to the outside, such a state that the disk D is forcibly drawn out can be correctly grasped by detecting combination of outputs of switches SW1, SW2, SW3 and SW4 and monitoring an output state of an optical sensor Ph which continues to detect the disk D from the loaded position to a carrying out completion position of the disk D.
