PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an objective lens driving device of a thin type by which deviation in a position of an elastic supporting member in solder fixing of the elastic supporting member and a flexible printed circuit board can be prevented and consequently the lens driving device having satisfactory posture accuracy can be manufactured, the objective lens driving device, an optical pickup device and an optical disk device. SOLUTION: The objective lens driving device 1 includes: the elastic supporting member 4 elastically supporting on its one end side, a holder for holding an objective lens 2; a fixing member 5 which fixes the other end side of the elastic supporting member and is formed of an injection molded resin where the other end side of the elastic supporting member 4 is embedded; the flexible printed circuit board 6 for solder fixing the other end side of the elastic supporting member 4 penetrated the fixing member 5 on the surface of the fixing member 5 on the side opposite from the holder 3; and a reinforcing resin 11 secured to the boundary portion between the elastic supporting member 4 and the fixing member 5 on the holder 3 side surface of the fixing member 5. The boundary portion of the elastic supporting member 4 and the fixing member 5 is secured with the reinforcing resin 11 and thereafter, the other end of the elastic supporting member 4 is solder fixed to the flexible printed circuit board 6.
