PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superabrasive grain tool which is constituted by joining superabrasive grain chips formed by connecting superabrasive grains by metal bond with a base metal unit by blazing, and improved in joint strength of the superabrasive grain chips with the base metal unit even if the superabrasive grain chips are formed by using the metal bond containing metal having a low melting point such as bismuth and tin. SOLUTION: A metallic coating 5 is provided on a face where the superabrasive grain chips 4 containing the metal having a melting point of 600°C or less in the metal bond 4a are joined with the base metal unit 2. Preferably, copper or nickel is used to form the metallic coating, the metallic coating is formed by plating or thermal spraying, and the metallic coating is provided on the whole surface of the superabrasive grain chip.
