SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE IN COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND METHOD THEREFOR

An electronic surveillance system in a communication network and a method according to the same are provided to manage efficiently the electronic surveillance information by storing integratedly retained data which is electronic surveillance information about subscribers in an exclusive storage unit. At least one communication service provider(410) provides retained data which is generated when a subscriber is using the communication service. An exclusive storage unit(430) manages the retained data received from the communication service provider. A law enforcement agency(450) receives the electronic surveillance information from the exclusive storage unit, if the electronic surveillance information about a specified subscriber is needed.
