A glider for an infant includes a frame having plurality of legs and a seat supported by the frame. The seat is positioned below an uppermost portion of the frame and is suspended from the frame. The glider also includes a controller operable to move the seat between a first position and a second position, where the first position and the second position are in substantially the same plane.
