<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a load on a network and also to suppress a consumption of a storage means for executing image data transceiving based on authentication. <P>SOLUTION: Registration information including authentication information (a specific ID) and its corresponding computer PC address (terminal information) stored in the memory 22 of a printer 20, and printing data are received from the computer corresponding to the input authentication information based on the registration information when the authentication information is input. The printing data are transceived only between the printer and a specified computer PC, preventing a load from being imposed on the network to suppress a consumption of the memory 22 of printers 20 when compared with the case where the image data are transmitted from the computer PC to all the printers 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
