<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active-matrix type display device with improved display quality. <P>SOLUTION: The active-matrix type display device comprises: display elements 16; pixel circuits 18 which supply driving electric current to the display elements; a plurality of pixel parts Px disposed on a substrate in a matrix shape; and a signal line driving circuit which supplies a second signal current to the pixel circuits via a video signal line after supplying a first signal electric current to the pixel circuits via the video signal line X1. Each pixel circuit comprises: a pixel switch 20a which controls selection and non-selection of the pixel part; a first storage part 32a which stores a first driving electric current in accordance with the first signal electric current on the select of the pixel part, thereafter, supplies the stored first driving electric current and, furthermore, stores a second driving electric current in accordance with the second signal electric current; and a second storage part 32b which stores the first driving electric current supplied from the first storage part when selecting the pixel part, whereby a differential electric current between the second driving electric current stored in the first storage part when selecting the pixel part and the first driving electric current stored in the second storage part is output to a display element as the driving electric current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
