<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card communication module, capable of adjusting, in communication of a device with an IC card through USB, the magnitude of communication traffic with the IC card according to the state of communication with the IC card. <P>SOLUTION: A service provider 200 of the IC card communication module 20 which controls communication with a subscriber identity module (SIM) 1 increases communications traffic (size of packet data) with the SIM 1 by adding a constant (64 bites) to the communication traffic, starting from a lower limit value, measures a communication time of communications with SIM 1 by a fixed number of times every time when the communication traffic is changed, and uses a communications traffic where the measured communication time is minimized as an optimum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
