PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device achieving a smaller size as well as capable of displaying with high visibility even when a plurality of applications are started.

SOLUTION: A start request receiving section 131 receives a request of start when each application in an application section 120 is started. A multi-display decision section 132 decides whether to perform multi-display when an application to be newly started is informed by the start request receiving section 131. A multi-display table 133 memorizes a plurality of applications to be multi-displayed when multi-display is decided to be performed. A display determining section 134 determines display regions of the application to be newly started and of a preceding application already started, in accordance with the decision results in the multi-display decision section 132. A start instruction section 135 informs each application of the display region and instructs the application to be newly started to start.
