PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover support device capable of easily adjusting the height and an inclination of a cover to an object surface. SOLUTION: This support device supports the cover for opening and closing an opening formed on the object surface being an outside surface of an object layer. The cover support device has a cover support part having an inside space communicating one end side and the other end side communicating with the opening and supporting the cover on one end side, a fixing part fixed to the object layer, an interposing part supporting the cover support part to the fixing part, a straight line direction adjusting means capable of adjusting a relative position of the cover support part to the fixing part along a reference straight line being a straight line crossing with the object surface, that is, the straight line direction adjusting means arranged in any one part of both parts of a first part between the cover support part and the interposing part and a second part between the fixing part and the interposing part, and a direction adjusting means arranged in any other part of both parts capable of adjusting the relative direction of the cover support part to the fixing part.
