PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver particulates which can be subjected to low temperature firing and is suitable to the raw materials for electrically conductive paste, an electrically conductive adhesive, a joining material or the like, and to provide a method for easily producing the same. SOLUTION: Silver particulates, wherein the average particle diameter is 20 to 100 nm, and the low temperature organic matter component scattering constant of organic matter contained therein or stuck thereto =(the molecular weight of the organic matter components)×(the boiling point or decomposition temperature of the organic matter components)×(the content ratio thereof to the silver particulates) is 56 to 180, are obtained by adding the methanol solution of the amine complex of silver nitrate prepared by using silver nitrate and one or more kinds selected from amines which are hydrosoluble or water soluble and having a melting point of≤200°C to a water-methanol-mixed solvent in which ascorbic acid or erythorbic acid is dissolved, and subjecting the same to reduction precipitation.
