PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems such as deterioration of productivity or quality of products or industrial products and emission of malodors by growth of algae in paddy field or various plants. SOLUTION: In a process of advancing functional analysis of plant type defensin, a knowledge that the plant type defensin has an algae control activity is obtained.
