PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device enabling to reduce the size of an image forming device while allowing easy jamming treatment. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device comprises two first and second paper feeding units 31, 32 horizontally arranged side by side and each having a paper feeding roller 39 for supplying paper to an image forming part, a horizontal carrying unit 33 arranged above the second paper feeding unit 32 and having a horizontal carrying roller 44 for carrying paper P fed from the first paper feeding unit 31, and a vertical carrying unit 41 having a vertical carrying passage 42 via which the paper P fed from the horizontal carrying unit 33 and the second paper feeding unit 32 is carried to the upper image forming part. The horizontal carrying unit 33 curves from the downstream side of the horizontal carrying roller 44 and rises upward, and has a carrying passage 43 communicated with the vertical carrying passage 42. The second paper feeding unit 32 rises obliquely upward from the downstream side of the paper feeding roller 39 toward the outside of the device and further rises obliquely upward toward the inside of the device, and has a supply passage 38 communicated with the vertical carrying passage 42.
