PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device for reliably cleaning a roller, and to provide an image forming device mounted therewith. SOLUTION: The paper feeding device comprises a paper storage part 6 formed detachably/attachably to be drawn out/pushed into an image forming device body 2 for storing sheets of paper stacked in their thickness direction, and a paper feeding mechanism 8 arranged on the device body and having the paper feeding roller 60 which contacts the paper located on the outermost layer in the paper storage part at a predetermined paper feeding position, for rotating the paper feeding roller to deliver the paper on the outermost layer one by one from the paper storage part to the direction almost the same as the drawing-out direction of the paper storage part. The paper storage part has a band-shaped cleaning member 42 which contacts the paper feeding roller to be rotated during attaching/detaching operation of the paper storage part.
