The invention relates to a solar thermal tank characterised in that it comprises a device consisting of a metal sheet positioned inside a tank or container having a fluid inlet and a second fluid discharge port. The tank is sealed with a cover of transparent material through which the sun's rays can reach the sheet. The solar tank can be used to heat the fluid contained therein, using the energy from the sun's rays received by the sheet submerged in said fluid.
