A thin film transistor display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve an adhesive force between a pixel electrode and a drain electrode by contacting the edge of a lower layer with the pixel electrode through a contact hole. A gate line is formed on an insulation substrate(110), and a semiconductor is formed on the gate insulating layer. A data conductor(175) is formed on the semiconductor, and has a first metal layer comprising Mo, a second layer comprising Al, and a first contact hole for exposing the gate insulating layer. A protective layer(180) having a second contact hole(185) for exposing the first contact hole is formed on the data conductor. A pixel electrode(191) is connected to the first metal layer and the second metal layer via the first and second contact holes.
