A multi-layered optical recording medium, an address assignment method of the multi-layered optical recording media, a reproducing apparatus and method, and a recording method are provided to allot different sector addresses to different recording layers with a difference as much as a predetermined offset in order to prevent the data from being played at a wrong position. A sector address is allotted on one of the lower most recording layer and the upper most recording layer among multiple recording layers(910). The sector address is allotted on the second recording layer adjacent to the first recording layer to have repair relation of the first recording layer(920). The sector address is allotted so that the sector address of each recording layer has a difference as much as a predetermined offset from the sector address of the recording layer below two layers(930).
