A display filter and a plasma display device using the same are provided to improve a contrast characteristic by shielding external light. A display filter(100) includes a plurality of holes having the same opening area. The holes are formed from a front surface to a rear surface of the display filter. The display filter includes at least one of an electromagnetic wave shielding layer, a near infrared shielding layer, an anti-reflective layer, and a color correction layer. Each of the holes has a sectional surface of a circular shape. Ten or more holes are formed on an area corresponding to one sub-pixel. A plasma display device includes a plasma display panel(200) and the display filter arranged on a front surface of the plasma display panel.
