摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of accurately correcting image data and applying suitable correction voltage to liquid crystal without generating the influence of encoding and decoding errors even when image data added with a signal for generating a false gradation are inputted to a liquid crystal driving image processing circuit for encoding or decoding image data to reduce the capacity of a frame memory. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor and the image processing method, a variation between first decoded image data corresponding to the image data of a current frame and second decoded image data corresponding to the image data of one frame before and an error value between the image data of the current frame and the first decoded image data are found out in each pixel, and the image data of the current frame are corrected by using the image data of one frame before generated by selecting either one of the image data of the current frame and the second decoded image data in each pixel on the basis of the variation and the error value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
