A CAD apparatus and a computer readable recording medium recording a CAD program are provided to design efficiently a PCB connected to other PCB via a connector by automatically designing a circuit diagram of the connector. A CAD apparatus(401) includes the first connector, an association data acquiring unit(442), a part information acquiring unit(443), a layout condition acquiring unit(444) and a circuit diagram creating & updating unit(445). The association data acquiring unit acquires association data that defines an association between pins of the first connector and those of the second connector to be connected to the first connector, and an assignment of signals to the pins. The part information acquiring unit acquires information including a symbol of the first connector. The layout condition acquiring unit acquires a layout condition to lay out the symbol of the first connector on a circuit diagram. The circuit diagram creating & updating unit lays out the symbol of the first connector on the circuit diagram based on the layout condition, and adds a net name indicating a signal assigned to each of the pins to the symbol.
