A circuit for detecting a power supply voltage in a semiconductor memory apparatus and a circuit for generating a voltage using the same are provided to reduce current consumption by increasing resistance for dividing voltage. A voltage dividing unit(210) outputs a first divided voltage and a second divided voltage by dividing an internal voltage. A first comparison unit(220) compares a reference voltage with the first divided voltage, and then outputs a first control signal in response to the comparison result. A second comparison unit(230) compares the reference voltage with the second divided voltage, and then outputs a second control signal in response to the comparison result.
