APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING WASHING OF A DISH WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus and method of washing control of a dishwasher are provided to prevent waste of rinsing water while reducing unnecessary rinsing cycle by measuring turbidity of rinsing water of previous cycle for determining the next course to be carried out. A method of washing control of a dishwasher comprises the steps of: discriminating if an auto-rinse course is selected by a user(S200); measuring turbidity of rinsing water while the auto-rinse course is on progress(S208); and selecting a course for the next cycle based on the measured turbidity of rinsing water by comparing the turbidity of rinsing water with a reference value, wherein current cycle on progress is completed and a course for the next cycle is selected, if the measured turbidity of rinsing water is below the reference value(S210,S216).
