A steering system of a vehicle is provided to prevent main steering signal and electrical steering signal from being inputted to a control unit together caused by unintentional touch of joy stick by releasing electric steering system. A steering system of a vehicle comprises at least two sensors(2,3), a detection object, and a control unit. The sensors are placed at a handle hub(1a) at a predetermined distance, and senses rotation of a handle(1). The detection object is aligned on shaft which is not rotating, with different angles to sensors. The control unit of the vehicle senses access of sensors and the detection object in accordance with rotation of the handle and release electrical steering state when the handle starts to rotate.
