Electrode configuration for a photovoltaic module with series connected cells

The photovoltaic module (10) has griping cells (C1,Cn) with areas (25) separated by dividing lines for current collection by maintaining the photo activity outside the areas. The line is provided in the front electrode layer near a cell (C1) with negative pole and the line is provided in the rear electrode layer and semiconductor layer near a cell (Cn) with positive pole. The semiconductor layer has a line within the area and a contact tape (22) for current collection insulated electrically outside the area opposite to the rear electrode layer. An independent claim is also included for the method for manufacturing a photovoltaic module.
