METHOD FOR ROAMING OF SENSOR NODE IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

A method for roaming a sensor node in wireless sensor network environment is provided to develop various application services by performing roaming for sensor nodes between adjacent wireless sensor networks. A movable sensor node related to a parent node of a first wireless network obtains an energy value of a selected channel and a link value according to the channel by performing periodically energy sensing scan and active scan works. If the sensor node is transferred to a second wireless sensor network, the sensor node obtains an energy value and a link value of a selected channel by periodically performing energy sensing scan and active scan works. The sensor node compares judges the energy values and the link values before and after transfer. If the energy and link values after transfer are greater than before transfer, the sensor node makes a connection with the parent node of the second wireless sensor network. And the sensor node severs the connection with the parent node of the first wireless sensor network.
