A spare tire carrier on a vehicle is provided to draw conveniently a spare tire by using exhaust pressure generated by the driving of an engine as a source of power. A spare tire carrier on a vehicle comprises a power member(1), an operating member, and a containing member(20). The power member consists of an exhaust gas inlet pipe(2) having a check valve(3) to flow exhaust gas(G) into an exhaust pipe(P) to one direction, a switch valve(5) controlling the direction of the exhaust gas, and a driving device(8) returning gas flowed into the switch valve through a gas return pipe(7). The operating member includes a guide case(11) having an empty space to be assembled to the lower part of a bottom frame(F), a connection roller(12) placed inside a case body(11a) to move along an opening channel(11b) with the linear movement of the power member, and a hinge bar(16) having a diffraction rod(15) and the hinge bar. The containing member moves according to the movement direction of the operating member by containing a spare tire(S). The driving device has a hollow cylinder assembled to the lower part of the bottom frame, pistons(8b) moving inside the cylinder by the pressure of exhaust gas, and a piston rod(8c) extended to the outside of the cylinder.
