A transmitting and receiving system for offering the weather information is provided to supply the transmitted weather information to printers at transmission and reception sides, thereby securing the weather information visually. A disaster broadcasting system(1) is constructed by an edit input device(3), a data bank(4), and a storing device(5) such as a hard disc for storing a system program and a management program with a control unit(2) as the center. A transmission side(A) transmits electromagnetic wave through a transmitter(28). A tuner receives the broadcasting through a receiving antenna. The broadcasting signal is outputted through an image driving member and a speaker through a video amplifier and an audio amplifier. A transmission side memory(6) is connected with the control unit of the transmission side and stores the transmitted weather broadcasting related data. A weather data receiving tuner is connected with the receiving antenna. A detector generates the output corresponding to the existence and kinds of the received weather data. A control member is connected with the tuner and the detector. A character output member is connected with a character display board connected with the control member.
