摘要

A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided to reduce optical loss and apply an anisotropic scattering layer to an ultra thin light guide plate by using an anisotropic scattering layer with a tape shape. A liquid crystal display apparatus(100) includes a liquid crystal display panel assembly(70), a light guide plate(16), a light emitting diode(12), and an anisotropic scattering member(10). The liquid crystal display panel assembly displays images. The light guide plate guides the light to supply to the liquid crystal display panel assembly. The light emitting diode is arranged on a lateral side of the light guide plate and supplies the light to the light guide plate. The anisotropic scattering member is arranged between the light guide plate and the light emitting diode. The anisotropic scattering member is formed on a light emitting surface of the light emitting diode.
