A dielectric composition is provided to prevent an electrode yellowing phenomenon of a front substrate at low firing temperature and to produce a plasma display panel having high transmittance. A dielectric composition of a plasma display panel front glass includes 75-55wt% of PbO, 20-10wt% of SiO2, 18-7wt% of B2O3, and 10-0wt% of RO. The RO is any one selected from CaO, SrO, BaO, MgO, ZnO, RaO, and BeO, or mixtures thereof. A plasma display panel includes a first substrate(11) on which a first dielectric(16) is formed, a second substrate(12) on which a second dielectric(14) is formed, and barrier ribs(13) placed between the first and second substrates. The first dielectric is prepared from the dielectric composition.
