In the present invention, there is disclosed a salad spinner having a base body (12) receiving a basket (14) for relative rotation therein, and a cover (16) mounted to said base body (12) and having a drive mechanism causing said relative rotation, said basket (14) including an upper edge (22) having a close fit within said base body (12), the improvement comprising: said basket (14) including at least one access depression (34) in the form of a radially inward depression opening onto said upper edge (22), and defining an access space between said basket (14) and said base body (12), said access space being sized to receive at least one finger therein. |
