<p>A computer system equipped with an AOM(Add On Module) function and a communication method thereof are provided to offer the AOM function by installing a software AOM to the computer system connected to a switchboard through a VoIP(Voice of Internet Protocol) gateway without installing a physical AOM. A file storing part(31) stores an IP(Internet Protocol) address of a gatekeeper and a software AOM port number, which is registered to a switchboard as a virtual port. A controller(30) includes an environment setting unit(300) storing environment setting data received from a user as an environment setting file, a gatekeeper register(310) registering the software AOM to the gatekeeper, a transceiver(330) transceiving a call signal, and a button number register(320) registering a phone number linked with each button of the software AOM to the switchboard. A network interface(32) communicates with the switchboard through the gatekeeper and the VoIP gateway. A user interface(33) receives input from the user and outputs a result to the user.</p> |
